It’s a sunny start to March Break week in New Brunswick both weather wise and an easing of Orange Level restrictions. As announced yesterday – travel between Zones is now permitted – you can now include family and friends in other Orange Zones in your “Steady 10” contacts – and hospital visits are now permitted subject to Regional Health Authority guidelines.

Public Health pre-approved travel exemptions are being extended to non-residents who are coming to attend a funeral. Those people must complete a five day self isolation period and test negative on the fifth day before being allowed to attend the funeral.

Chief Medical Officer of Health – Dr Jennifer Russell – says if the situation remains stable with low case counts and hospitalizations – the plan is to move the province to the Yellow Level of recovery a week from tomorrow.
